Jim Ray Receives Patent No. 11,617,316 for Innovative Hydroponics System

Raleigh, NC – 4/20/2023 – Agtechs.Online, a leading provider of hydroponic systems, is proud to announce the receipt of a patent for its innovative hydroponics system by the company owner, Jim Ray. The new technology allows the hydroponics solution to cool the semiconductor light emitting diodes (LEDs) and enables a higher output of photons, which in turn reduces the number of lights the farmer needs to purchase.
Hydroponic farming is becoming increasingly popular due to its numerous advantages over traditional soil-based agriculture. It allows for more efficient use of space, water, and nutrients, and can produce higher yields with less waste. However, traditional hydroponic systems can be energy-intensive, requiring a large number of lights to provide adequate illumination for plant growth.
Rays’s new hydroponics system solves this problem by integrating the cooling of the LED lights with the hydroponic solution. By circulating the nutrient-rich solution over the LED lights, the heat generated by the lights is dissipated, and the LEDs can operate at a higher output level without overheating. This results in a more efficient use of energy, reducing the number of lights required for optimal plant growth.
“We are thrilled to have received this patent, which represents a significant step forward in the field of hydroponic agriculture,” said Ray. “Our system allows farmers to achieve higher yields with less energy, reducing their costs and environmental impact. We believe that this technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we grow our food.”
The new hydroponics system is currently available for purchase and can be customized to meet the specific needs of individual farmers. To learn more about Ray’s innovative hydroponics solutions, contact us.
